Yes, rainbows are a sign that G-d will not destroy the world again. But according to Jewish mystical tradition, they are also a sign of Moshiach, the Messiah. Indeed, videos of this rainbow on YouTube have provoked a wealth of comments and arguments about its G-dly significance.
