At a summit of the world's leaders, Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, was the sole dissenting voice regarding a resolution demanding Israel return to '67 borders. As a result, the resolution passed in a watered-down version. "Mr. Harper clearly is the odd man out on this one, and it won't do him any favors," a British official remarked. Clearly, Mr. Harper's stance with Israel forced the G8 summit to bend to his will.
