Talk of the Third Temple in Israeli Parliament.

One of the great milestones of the era of Redemption will be the building of the Third Beis Hamikdosh (Holy Temple) in Jerusalem. This wondrous edifice will be honored and revered by all the nations of the world, and through it, the Jewish people will attain a perfect service. Talk of the Third Holy Temple is heating up among all kinds of people. Here is some lighthearted banter from the Knesset.

The New Housing Minister's Plans

Today, all the new ministers took their positions in their

Ministries. At the “changing of the guard” ceremony in the

Housing Ministry, incoming Minister Uri Ariel (HaBayit

HaYehudi) asked outgoing minister Ariel Atias (Shas)

if the Housing Ministry is responsible for preparing

plans for the construction of the Beit Hamikdash.

Atias answered, “That would require Obama’s permission.”

Uri Ariel responded immediately, “The only One whose

Permission we need is HaKodesh Baruch Hu*.”
