In 1991, the Rebbe, through prophetic insight, said that Jacob’s rival, Esau,
was “refined and ready for the Redemption.” The sorrows of the past at the
hands of Western civilization have come to an end. The gentiles are now willing
and wanting to help the Jewish nation realize their unique destiny. The
Biblical Esau was red-haired and ruddy, and people have referenced President
Trump as being this modern-day Esau. Whether true or not, there is no doubt
that the Trump/Pence team has brought a new light to the Middle East. And Vice
President Pence’s speech to the Jewish people certainly seems like the beginning of the prophecy of Zephaniah: “I will make the peoples pure of speech so that
they will all call on the name of the Lord and serve him with one purpose.”

is a nation born all at once? Yet Tzion travailed and at once bore her
children!
